SCARES Wins Award

On March 9, 2000, I had the privilege of accepting (on behalf of SCARES) the Peninsula Emergency Services Association James V. Fitzgerald Award "For Invaluable Service Provided To The Citizens of San Mateo County In Times Of Disasters And Emergencies". Our group was nominated and won the award for its outstanding cooperation with emergency service agencies. The award was presented by George Berry at the PESA quarterly luncheon held at the Peninsula Golf Course.

Congratulations to all our hard-working members: keep up the good work!
