Tour de Peninsula is ON for 2010. Start and finish is at Coyote Point Park in San Mateo.

They expect some 1700 bike riders participating.

The four bike rides as follows: kid’s 1-3 mile, 20 mile, 31 mike, 63 mile (50mile short cut) rides.

We will be working the three adult rides.

Run by Pilarcitos Cyclesports, all rides start and end in Coyote Point Park in the upper parking lot next to the Captains House where event HQ & Amateur Radio Net Control will be located.

We will probably need to start early, say 5-6am, but I will let you know more as I find out.

This event offers an excellent opportunity for emergency you to provide needed services to a beneficial event as well as utilize your skills. We will operate under the Standardized Emergency Management System (SEMS) and utilizes the Incident Command System (ICS).

We need approx. 30 hams to work net control, rest stops, fixed posts & possible SAG’s.

Since this event is still in the planning stages, some of the posts are not yet determined but there will be four rest stops.

If you are interested in working this event, please click on my online sign up link listed above.
