Tour de Peninsula starts and finishes at Coyote Point Park in San Mateo. About 1700 riders are expected to participate. http://supportparks.org/tdp/

There are four bike rides: Kids/Family 2-6 miles, and 20, 31, and 63 mile (50 mile short cut) rides. The last three are the rides we will support.

The event is run by Pilarcitos Cyclesports. All rides start and finish at Coyote Point Park, in the upper parking lot next to the Captain's House. This is the event HQ and Amateur Radio Net Control station location.
We need to start early, between 0500 & 0600 with volunteer sign-in at the Coyote Point Park HQ. You will be informed as the schedule is confirmed and posts are assigned.
This event offers an excellent opportunity for you to utilize your skills and practice emergency communications, while providing needed services for a beneficial event.
We will need approximately 30 hams to work net control, rest stops, fixed posts, SAGs and mobile repair vehicles. Some of the posts are not set yet, but there will be four rest stops.
If you are interested in working this event, please click on the online sign up link listed above. Make sure you provide all requested information. All responses will be by e-mail.
